We inventory wildlife, plants, forest and range resources, and special habitats for public agencies, industries, and private land owners. We provide comprehensive resource assessment and planning for conservation of wildlife and other biological resources.

Colorado Sagebrush: A Conservation Assessment and Strategy (BIO-Logic Environmental 2005) is now published on the Colorado Division of Wildlife web site.

North American River Otter (Lontra canadensis): A Technical Conservation Assessment Prepared for the USDA Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region. (BIO-Logic Environmental 2006) and North American Beaver (Castor canadensis): A Technical Conservation Assessment Prepared for the USDA Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region (BIO-Logic Environmental 2007) are now published on the U.S. Forest Service web site. Our in-house GIS shop performs paper-to-GIS data conversion, data collection and creation, and advanced raster and vector analyses. Our GIS staff provide mapping and analysis to support resource conservation and planning projects.We perform in-the-field mapping using Trimble map-grade GPS, and advanced spatial analysis using comprehensive aerial, topographic, elevation, geology, mining, wildlife, vegetation, and proprietary data sets.

Wetland Science & Delineation

We perform jurisdictional Wetland Delineations and secure federal and local regulatory permits for conservation and development projects. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lists BIO-Logic, Inc. (formerly BIO-Logic Environmental before 2008) as a preferred wetland contractor.

We work with private landowners and land trusts to provide Baseline Documentation Reports for conservation easements. Our Geologist provides Minerals Assessments or "Remoteness" Reports for properties with a split or severed mineral estate.
